More News

The other big news around here, besides the puppy, is that we're moving! To Park Slope...to a one bedroom with a private yard! and a doggy door! on the ground floor of a brownstone (so there will be no more downstairs neighbors wanting to kill us for dropping shoes and having playful dogs)...

on a treelined street only half a block from Prospect Park and just a few blocks from the Grand Army Plaza farmers market!

I've really loved our current spacious light-filled two-bedroom apartment perched on a fun corner in Williamsburg, which is why we have stayed here for the past three years. We've lived with a fair share of roommates here, so it will be really nice to have our own place finally. I like Williamsburg, but I'm happy to not have to walk the dogs around lame McCarren Park or walk through the industrial-turned-condo-treeless wasteland any more. This may be just the change I've been needing for a long time now. I'm excited to live within walking and biking distance of a whole new slew of restaurants and bars to try. I can't wait to entertain and grill and garden and have cocktail hours in the yard.

Get ready for posts with decorating inspiration and projects as we move into our new home in a few weeks!

  3. Lady, this sounds lovely. You get the grill, I'll bring the sangria! I miss my little bear terribly, having a nice park to run him around in(even though he's not to keen on it) was wonderful, not to mention a huge help to my pet sitting business.

  7. Congrats on the new home!!!
ABout the puppy poo- I totally understand, and although I have heard that tea tree oil kills bacteria- i'd probably buy a Seventh Gen, Ecover or Attitude strong bacteria killer- so not 100% homemade, BUT still natural-ish. :)
